11-Year-Old Brendan Bourgord Injured In S. Beloit, IL Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on May 25 in South Beloit, Illinois. 11-year-old Brendan Bourgord was severely injured after being hit by a car while he was getting off the school bus in the 600 block of South Bluff Road. Brenden Bourgord, an 11-year-old Riverview Elementary student, was getting off the bus when a car hit him, inflicting critical injuries. Family members have created a GoFundMe page to help with medical costs. Police say the driver of the car remained at the scene. An investigation is ongoing.
