12-Year-Old Tyler Mabe Injured in Robbins, NC Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on August 30 in Robbins, North Carolina.  12-year-old Tyler Mabe was seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident along Spies Road. Authorities said Tyler Mabe and a friend were walking when Tyler was struck by a motorist- possibly a silver Honda or Toyota with right front-end damage..Police are still looking for a suspect. Tyler was hospitalized at UNC Medical Center with numerous injuries, including a brain injury. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
