12-Year-Old Zoye Marie Injured In Walnut, CA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on May 8th in Walnut, California. 12-year-old Zoye Marie was seriously injured in an early-morning collision at the intersection of East Valley Boulevard and North Grand Avenue. According to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, a car with four people on board was struck by another vehicle. One of the vehicles hit a fire hydrant, shearing it off, and then caught fire. The two children were rushed to the hospital with critical injuries. The boy succumbed to injuries. Zoye remains in critical condition and was placed in a medically induced coma. She had her spleen removed and has undergone tailbone surgery. The exact cause of the accident remains under investigation.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
