Dufour, along with his friends, was skateboarding around 9 p.m. when he was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound on West Spruce Street. The aspiring football player suffered a fractured pelvis and skull, and was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The driver fled the scene, and no information is available about the suspect. Police are reviewing surveillance footage to aid the investigation.
