14-Year-Old John Castilaw Killed In Vidor, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on December 18 in Vidor, Texas. Two teenage boys lost their lives in a motor vehicle accident when a Dodge Journey traveling north on Concord Street lost control, ran off the roadway, and crashed into a utility pole. Shortly afterward, the Dodge became engulfed in flames. Both teenagers died as a result of injuries sustained in the collision. The 14-year-old was identified as John Castilaw III. Investigation into the incident is underway by the Department of Public Safety. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
