Tragic accident that occurred on September 28 in Auburn, New York. 15-year-old Mercedes Falcone tragically lost her life after being hit by a car at Perrine and Washington streets A preliminary investigation found that Mercedes Falcone was struck by a car while riding her bike at Perrine and Washington streets. The 15-year-old Auburn resident was rushed to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, where she was pronounced dead on Oct. 14. No information was available about the driver that struck the teenager. The investigation is ongoing. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
