16-Year-Old Akshata Chettupalli Killed In N. Hollywood, CA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on Saturday, December 18th in N. Hollywood, California. 16-year-old Akshata Reddy Chettupalli and her brother, were both tragically killed in a crash with a drunk driver on Lassen Street. The siblings were traveling in a vehicle with their family that was rear-ended by a 20-year-old woman, who was allegedly driving under the influence. Chettupalli tragically died on christmas day after being declared brain dead.  Both teens were described as bright, talented, and loving people. The close-knit Indian community in San Fernando Valley has been shaken since the tragedy. The suspect in the crash has been charged with murder. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
