16-Year-Old Ethan Harrell Killed In Spartanburg, SC AccidentDUI crash on Hardin Road Posted: 8 months agoShare Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Email This StoryTragic accident that occurred on August 26 in Spartanburg, South Carolina. 16-year-old Ethan Harrell sadly lost his life following a DUI crash after an ATV he was a passenger on lost control and crashed on Hardin Road. Harrell, an Upstate high school student-athlete, was a passenger in a Polaris ATV that was going north when it lost control, went off the right side of the road, and overturned. Harrell was airlifted to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The 16-year-old was an 11th grader at Boiling Springs High School who played pitcher and 1st base on the baseball team. The ATV driver, identified as 40-year-old Randall Bell, was arrested and charged with felony DUI resulting in death, felony DUI with great bodily injury, child endangerment, and open container.
