16-Year-Old Giselle Herrera Killed In San Joaquin, CA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on December 23rd in San Joaquin, California. 16-year-old Giselle Herrera was one of multiple victims killed in a suspected drunk driving accident on Dos Reis Road. According to preliminary findings, a Honda was traveling at a high rate of speed, when the driver, a 17-year-old boy, failed to stop when the road ended. As a result, the car went over a raised levee, overturning and finally landing on its roof in the river. The 17-year-old, suspected of driving under the influence, was reportedly arrested, but a public information officer did not clarify whether charges were filed against him. A GoFundMe has been created to help the family. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
