A tragic accident occurred on April 9 in Apple Valley, CA, claiming the life of 16-year-old Marcos Lopez. According to authorities, Lopez was a passenger in a Dodge Charger that was speeding when the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to crash into a Southern California Edison utility pole on Central Road, south of Walpi Road. The impact of the crash tragically claimed Lopez's life, along with the driver’s. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating.
