Hit and run wreck on Cesar Chavez Road

Tragic accident that occurred on Saturday, January 1st in San Juan, Texas. 17-year-old Juan Vasquez Jr. was tragically killed after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on Cesar Chavez Road, south of Owassa Road. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), a Sienna was traveling at a high speed at the time of the collision. The driver of the van fled on foot after hitting the victim. The crash remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
