Tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, February 21 at around 3:19 PM in Biwabik, Minnesota. 17-year-old Lucie Kennedy was injured when the vehicle she was a passenger in was involved in a solo vehicle wreck on Highway 35. 18-year-old Justin Besch was southbound on Giants Ridge when he traveled through both lanes and into the south ditch, rolling over. Ms. Kennedy was transported to Essentia Health Northern Pines for treatment. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
