17-Year-Old Megan Martinez Killed In Lubbock, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Friday, April 16 at around 9:30 AM in Lubbock, Texas. 17-year-old Megan Martinez was tragically killed when the SUV that she was a passenger in lost control and struck a pole on the West Loop 289 Access Rd. 18-year-old Gabriel Castillo was the driver of a Jeep Grand Cherokee that left the roadway. Sadly, Martinez was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident remains under investigation and we send our thoughts and prayers to the family of this tragically young victim.
