DuBois Public Charter School, was tragically killed in a crash with a man driving under the influence at Marks and Jensen Avenues. According to the California Highway Patrol, Ramirez was driving a GMC truck that was T-boned by a Chevy Tahoe driven by 26-year-old Michael Mendoza. Ramirez was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center, where she tragically later died. Mendoza was arrested for felony DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter.
