18-Year-Old John Hibbard Killed In Cumberland, IL Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Saturday, May 1 in Cumberland, Illinois. 18-year-old John Hibbard was tragically killed in a two vehicle wreck that occurred on Interstate 70 near milepost 122. 19-year-old Ethan Angerami was traveling west, when for unknown reasons, his car left the roadway to the right, causing it to hit the rear of a truck tractor semi trailer parked on the right shoulder. Hibbard and the driver tragically died at the scene. The crash remains under investigation and we send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
