18-Year-Old Juan Zamudio Killed In Aurora, IL Accident

DUI crash on Indian Trail and Mitchell Road

Tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, March 28 at around 1 AM in Aurora, Illinois. 18-year-old Juan Zamudio was tragically killed when he was struck by a hit-and-run driver under the influence. 24-year-old Jace Williams was drunk and using his cell phone when he crashed his pick up into Mr. Zamudio. Mr. Williams struck him at the intersection of Indian Trail and Mitchell Road before fleeing the scene. Williams turned himself in just before noon on Sunday and faces charges of aggravated driving under the influence in an accident causing death, failure to report an accident or death, and aggravated use of a communication device causing death.
