18-Year-Old Natalie Chavez Killed In Lufkin, TX Accident

The accident remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, April 11th in Lufkin, Texas. 18-year-old Natalie Chavez was tragically killed in a single-vehicle collision that also injured three other people near Kit McConnico Park. 19-year-old Robert Cavazos was operating a dodge charger, traveling at a high rate of speed, when he lost control and struck a tree. The vehicle then overturned. Ms. Chavez, and two other back-seat passengers were ejected from the vehicle. The victim was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. The accident remains under investigation by police. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
