19-Year-Old Angel Sanchez Injured In Lufkin, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, April 11th in Lufkin, Texas. 19-year-old Angel Sanchez was seriously injured in a single-vehicle collision that claimed the life of one teenager and injured three other people near Kit McConnico Park. 19-year-old Robert Cavazos was operating a dodge charger, traveling at a high rate of speed, when he lost control and struck a tree. The vehicle then overturned. Mr. Sanchez and two other back-seat passengers were ejected from the vehicle. He was transported to an area hospital for medical attention. One passenger sadly died from injuries sustained in the crash. The accident remains under investigation by police. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
