19-Year-Old Angelic Vega Injured In Opa Locka, FL Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on August 5th in  Opa Locka, Florida. 19-year-old Angelica Vega was seriously injured, and her boyfriend killed, in a head-on crash on Old State Road 9. The victims were driving a Chevy Sedan that was struck by a Ford pickup truck that crossed the center median. Vega, who is six months pregnant, was taken to Ryder Trauma with serious injuries.She and her unborn child are expected to survive. The crash remains under investigation and investigators will try to determine what caused the pickup truck to strike the couple’s car, resulting in this tragedy.
