19-Year-Old Evan Mattner Injured In Clay, NY Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Wednesday, September 29th in Clay, New York. 19-year-old Evan Mattner was seriously injured in a three vehicle collision on State Route 481. The victim's Subaru was struck from behind by a pick up truck, causing the vehicle to drive into a ditch and overturn. The pick up truck had been struck by a Subaru Forester that had made an unsafe lane change from the passing lane into the driving lane and was unable to control it’s speed. The victim was taken to Upstate University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The crash remains under investigation and we send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
