Lewis crashed in the southbound lanes for unknown reasons and got out of her disabled Honda, and that is when a 2014 BMW X3 hit her. DPS said the SUV also slammed into Lewis' Honda. Tragically, Lewis died from injuries sustained in the wreck, officials said. Authorities continue to investigate the accident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
