20-Year-Old Anna Albert Killed In Oak Harbor, WA Accident

the crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on June 5 in Oak Harbor, Washington. 20-year-old Anna N. Albert was killed in a hit-and-run crash on East Crescent Harbor Road. A Ford F250 truck was traveling on the roadway when the driver veered across the centerline, striking Albert’s Toyota Highlander head-on. Albert, who was headed to visit her mother's workplace at Olympic View Elementary, died as a result of injuries. The Ford driver fled the scene but, several hours later, turned himself into police. Detectives said the 33-year-old may face multiple charges, including vehicular homicide and hit-and-run from an accident resulting in death. An investigation is ongoing.
