Tragic accident that occurred on Friday, April 23 at around 8:49 PM in Brainerd, Minnesota. 20-year-old Cynthia Thompson was injured after the vehicle she was a passenger in crashed into a bear on Highway 25. 19-year-old Tyler Peterson was operating a Hyundai when he hit a bear, causing the SUV to veer off the road and overturn. Thompson was taken to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
