20-Year-Old James Lees Killed In Jamestown, ND Accident

Bicyclist struck along Highway 20

Tragic accident that occurred on June 19th in Jamestown, North Dakota. 20-year-old James Lees was behind the wheel of a vehicle that struck and killed a bicycle rider along Highway 20 when he failed to yield the right-of-way. Troopers said Lees initially left the scene but then returned to find the cyclist. The cyclist was declared dead at the scene. Authorities have not released his identity. The accident remains under investigation.  We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
