20-Year-Old Jason Shevach Injured In Santa Barbara, CA Accident

Hit and run on Highway 154

Tragic accident that occurred on April 19th in Santa Barbara, California. 20-year-old Jason Shevach was seriously injured when his bicycle was struck by a hit-and-run driver on Highway 154. A Toyota Scion XD traveled onto the right shoulder and collided with Shevach before fleeing the scene. Shevach suffered major injuries and was airlifted to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. CHP said the color of the suspect vehicle is Bordeaux mica metallic, or purple, and the car is missing its front emblem. Anyone with information is asked to call CHP at 805-688-5551.
