20-Year-Old Matthew Allen Reyes Killed in San Angelo, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

A tragic accident occurred on April 11 in San Angelo, TX, killing two individuals. One of them is 20-year-old Matthew Allen Reyes of Big Spring, who was ejected from a speeding vehicle that crashed during a police chase. The collision occurred at around 9:55 p.m. along southbound U.S. Highway 87 near Wilde Road. The Dodge Charger, fleeing from DPS troopers, left the road, flew into the air, and overturned in the median. Tragically, Reyes was pronounced dead at the scene. One of the other victims in the crash was 18-year-old Jesus Silva II. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
