21-Year-Old Jacob Smith Injured In Elysian Township, MN Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, March 14 at around 12:28 AM in Elysian Township, Minnesota. 21-year-old Jacob Smith was injured in a two vehicle wreck while traveling east on Highway 60 near mile post 122. A 54-year-old man was driving a Chevy Impala when he collided with Mr. Smith’s Taurus. Mr. Smith was transported to Saint Mary’s for treatment of his injuries. The driver of the Chevy died from injuries sustained in the crash. The accident remains under investigation and we send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
