21-Year-Old Marco Juarez Involved In Houston, TX Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on February 18 in Houston, Texas. A 40-year-old man who authorities say was filling his vehicle's gas tank was hit and killed by a suspected drunken driver, 21 year old Marco Antonio Juarez. The incident occurred around 3:40 a.m. at 9900 Katy Freeway (West Interstate Highway 10). Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the man dead. Juarez was arrested after officials determined he was driving impaired. He was charged with intoxication and manslaughter in the 208th State District Court. An investigation remains underway. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
