22-Year-Old Andrew Demetre Arrested In Charleston, SC Accident

Hit and run wreck along Meeting Street

Tragic accident that occurred on May 13th in Charleston, South Carolina. 22-year-old Andrew Demetre was arrested in a hit-and-run crash between a motor vehicle and pedicab that left one person seriously injured along Meeting Street. The operator of the pedicab sustained major injuries and was transported to Medical University of South Carolina for treatment. Demetre was apprehended soon after the crash and charged with felony DUI resulting in great bodily injury or death and hit-and-run with death or injury.
