22-Year-Old Antonio Hernandez Killed In Manatee, FL Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, December 20 in Manatee Florida. 22-year-old Antonio Hernandez, a Deputy with the Manatee County Sheriffs Office was tragically killed in a two vehicle crash on interstate 75. The deputy was off duty when a van driven by a 72-year-old man attempted to change lanes, and collided with the right front side of Hernandez‘s vehicle. Mr. Hernandez was remembered as a professional, talented, and hard-working deputy. The crash is under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
