A tragic accident occurred on April 10 in Maverick County when 22-year-old Carlos Zabdi Salazar was fatally injured in a two-vehicle crash. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash took place around 3:30 p.m. on Old Eagle Pass Road. Salazar was traveling northbound when a Chevrolet Blazer, driven by a 62-year-old man, reportedly failed to stay in a single lane and struck his vehicle. Salazar was transported to a local hospital, where he later died. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
