22-Year-Old Sabrina Obando Killed In Gainesville, FL Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Tuesday, January 4th in Gainesville, Florida. 22-year-old Sabrina Obando, University of Florida graduate, was tragically struck and killed by a Ford F-150 pickup truck in the intersection of Northwest 8th Avenue and Northwest 10th Street. Obando was rushed to UF Health Shands Hospital, where she tragically later died. Obando graduated cum laude from UF with a bachelor’s degree in history. The accident remains under investigation. A GoFundMe has been started to help Obando’s family pay for funeral expenses. We send our thought and prayers to the family of the victim.
