22-year-old Oscar Lopez killed in Koreatown, CA accident

The tragic accident occurred on March 27 in Koreatown, California, claiming the life of 22-year-old Oscar Lopez in a hit-and-run. Authorities say Lopez was skateboarding to work around 6 a.m. on Catalina Street near 6th Street when a gray sedan struck him and fled. Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries. Police recovered vehicle parts and are searching for the suspect. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Los Angeles Police Department. The investigation remains ongoing.
