23-Year-Old Austin Vargas Injured In Humboldt, CA Accident

The crash remains under investigation

 Tragic accident that occurred on January 24th in Humboldt, California. 23-year-old Austin Vargas was injured when his Ford collided with two vehicles that were involved in a head-on crash on State Route 255. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the head-on crash occurred when a Jeep driven by Luz Garciasilva and a Lexus driven by 49-year-old Dwayne Faughn collided. Both vehicles came to a rest in the roadway and were then struck by Vargas who was traveling southbound. It was not immediately clear what caused the head-on crash and the CHP continues to investigate the accident. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
