Tragic accident that occurred on Sunday, March 28 at around 2 AM in Loganville, Georgia. 23-year-old Melissa Roopnarine was tragically killed when she was struck by a vehicle while walking on State Route 81 along the southbound lane. The victim was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation by the Loganville Accident Investigation Unit. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
