24-Year-Old Adrian Martinez Involved In Houston, TX Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on September 2 in Houston, Texas. One person died and another was injured in a single-vehicle accident involving an alleged hit-and-run motorist on Dairy Ashford Road. A Honda Accord was traveling southbound at a high rate of speed when the vehicle hit the curb and the driver lost control. Subsequently, the Honda struck two trees and the vehicle was severed in half. A passenger traveling in the backseat was ejected in the crash.  Sadly, emergency responders pronounced one passenger dead at the scene. A second passenger was hospitalized with unspecified injuries.  The driver fled the scene on foot but was located at an apartment complex soon after. Authorities arrested 24-year-old Adrian James Martinez and charged him with failure to stop and render aid in an accident involving death. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
