24-Year-Old Amanda Arney Killed In Lake, CA Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on June 19th in Lake, California. 24-year-old Amanda Arney was tragically struck and killed by a hit and run driver while walking east on Highway 20, west of Sayre Avenue. Investigators said Arney was on the south side of the road when a vehicle approached from behind, drove onto the shoulder, and hit her. Arney, a resident of Nice, was found by emergency responders and sadly pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect vehicle, described as a silver 2013 Toyota Sienna minivan, sustained damage to its side mirror, headlight, and windshield, officials said.
