Driver charged with failure to yield

Tragic accident that occurred on Tuesday, August 17th in Manhattan, New York. A 90-year-old woman was struck and critically injured when she was struck by 24-year-old Chen Wei. The victim was crossing Amsterdam Avenue at West 74th Street when she was struck by an Infiniti Sedan. The woman was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition. Wei was charged with failure to yield to a pedestrian. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
