26-Year-Old William West Charged In Delmar, NY Accident

Pedestrian accident near Bethlehem Central Middle School

Tragic accident that occurred on Monday, August 30 in Delmar, New York. 26-year-old William West has been charged in a hit and run accident that injured a woman near Bethlehem Central Middle School. West was operating a Dodge Ram pick up when he struck the 46-year-old woman in the head with his side view mirror. West left the scene after striking the woman. She was transported to Albany Medical Center for treatment.  West was cited with an appearance ticket for one misdemeanor count of leaving the scene of a personal injury crash.
