27-Year-Old Katie Lambert Injured In Acworth, GA Accident

Corbin Engler arrested on aggravated assault, and hit and run charges

Tragic accident that occurred on Saturday, January 2 in Acworth, Georgia. 27-year-old Katie Lambert, was seriously injured when she was struck by a hit-and-run driver in the parking lot of the Valero gas station on N. Main Street. According to Police, 26-year-old Corbin Engler hit the victim and then fled the scene, leaving Miss Lambert lying on the ground. The victim was airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital where she was  reported to be in critical condition. Engler was arrested on charges of aggravated assault, and hit-and-run.
