27-Year-Old Melia Gray Killed In Pismo Beach, CA AccidentThe crash remains under investigation Posted: 3 years agoShare Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Email This Story Tragic accident that occurred on January 18th in Pismo Beach, California. 27-year-old Melia Rose Gray was tragically killed in a suspected DUI motor vehicle crash on Highway 101 . The victim was transported to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in San Luis Obispo with major injuries. Sadly, she was pronounced dead on Tuesday. CHP investigators said that 55-year-old Tammy Mae Silkwood was driving southbound when she lost control of her Honda Accord and struck a guardrail. The impact caused the Honda to spin across both lanes of freeway traffic before traveling down an embankment, where she struck a tree. She was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and causing injuries.
