27-Year-Old Timberly Yelton Injured In Caldwell, NC Accident

Tragic accident that occurred on May 8th in Caldwell, North Carolina. 27-year-old Timberly Yelton was injured in a single-vehicle accident along Abington Road. The NCSHP says 21-year-old Ethan Roten, was operating a 1997 Ford Thunderbird southbound when he lost control, traveled off the road, struck a tree, and overturned. Yelton was partially ejected from the backseat of the Thunderbird and trapped beneath the vehicle. She sustained unspecified injuries and was transported to Caldwell Memorial Hospital for treatment. Authorities charged Roten with misdemeanor death by vehicle, driving while license revoked, and a lane control violation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim
