Tragic accident that occurred on April 1 in Platte, Missouri. 28-year-old Astere Ellen was struck and killed by a semi on Missouri Route 9. Tragically, Ellen died from injuries at North Kansas City Hospital. An investigation remains underway. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim
