28-Year-Old Darrell Jones Killed In Mount Sinai, NY Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on Thursday, September 2nd in Mount Sinai, New York. 28-year-old Darrell Jones, and his brother, were both tragically killed in a two vehicle wreck on County Road 83. According to Suffolk County Police, Darrell Jones was a passenger in his brother's Mustang traveling southbound, at the same time that a Jeep SUV was being driven by 28-year-old Alaina Dimaria. The Mustang attempted a left turn onto Canal Road and collided with the Jeep. Darrell Jones, was transported to John T. Mather Memorial Hospital, where he tragically later died. Anyone with information about the accident is urged to call the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
