The crash unfolded when Robert Dodge fled an attempted traffic stop in a Toyota Sienna minivan that had been reported stolen. The Toyota hit the Rogue, of which Garcia was a passenger. She was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with unspecified injuries. Dodge was being held without bail for vehicular assault, DUI, attempting to elude a police vehicle, reckless driving and possession of a stolen vehicle.
