28-Year-Old Elizabeth Schomp Injured In Yates, NY Accident

Pedestrian struck on Preemption Road

Tragic accident that occurred on March 24 in Yates, New York. 28-year-old Elizabeth Schomp was injured after being hit by a vehicle on Preemption Road. The collision left Schomp with a lower leg injury. She was taken to the Geneva General Hospital for treatment. Deputies did not say whether any charges would be filed in the case, which remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
