DWI wreck on Gulf Freeway

Tragic accident that occurred on March 14th in Houston, Texas. One man was tragically struck and killed by a drunk driver in the 4000 block of the Gulf Freeway. 28-year-old Jose Manuel Fernandez Ortiz was charged in the crash. Authorities said that the man exited his vehicle and was struck by a Buick Regal driven by Ortiz, who was traveling at a high rate of speed. Investigators said that Ortiz showed signs of intoxication and was charged with DWI. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
