28-Year-Old Justin Alavarado Injured In Stanton, TX AccidentMulti-vehicle accident caused by semi-truckPosted: 4 years agoShare Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on LinkedIn Email This StoryChain reaction crash on interstate 20Tragic accident that occurred on Wednesday, December 16 at around 9:01 PM in Stanton Texas. 28-year-old Justin Alvarado suffered incapacitating injuries when the box truck that he was a passenger in was involved in a multivehicle accident on interstate 20. The accident occurred when a tractor trailer towing a semi trailer driven by 37-year-old Jose Saenz fail to control his speed and stop traffic. He then struck a Volvo tractor truck towing a semi trailer driven by Jaafar Eskander. The chain reaction crash sent a Volvo semi into the box truck that Alvarado was in. The box truck was then pushed into a Freightliner truck towing a semi trailer operated by 51-year-old Tony Stewart. Alvarado, and the driver of the box truck 21-year-old Jorge Torres were both rushed to university medical center with major injuries. The Texas department of public safety is investigating the crash.
