29-Year-Old Leonard Johnson Injured In Batavia, NY Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on March 17th in Batavia, New York. 29-year-old Leonard Johnson was severely injured when the vehicle he was riding in crashed into a flatbed trailer and caught fire on Interstate 90. A Ford F-350 towing a flatbed trailer had stopped for traffic when it was struck from behind by a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox, causing the Ford to strike a Toyota Highlander. The Chevrolet caught fire after the collision. Johnson, a passenger in the Chevrolet, suffered serious injuries. He was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Troopers say the crash remains under investigation. We send our thoughts and prayers to the victim.
