30-Year-Old Alan Matney Killed In Springfield, MO Accident

The crash remains under investigation

Tragic accident that occurred on August 2 in Springfield, Missouri. 30-year-old Alan Matney tragically lost his life when his mini-bike collided with a Dodge Journey traveling northbound on Glenstone Avenue. The driver began turning onto Cinderella Street and collided with Matney's Doodlebug mini-bike. Alan sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. Police arrested the Dodge driver on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Springfield Police are investigating. We send our thoughts and prayers to the family of the victim.
